Main Tasks of the Service:
- Developing thematic plans for the acquisition of national and international publications;
- Managing collection growth through mandatory copies, subscriptions, purchases, and donations;
- Maintaining precise records of acquired and withdrawn resources based on state regulations;
- Organizing the systematic placement, preservation, and retrieval of library materials for users;
- Monitoring the physical condition of collections and maintaining optimal environmental storage conditions;
- Identifying materials for binding or restoration and preparing them for repair;
- Creating and managing card and electronic catalogs to ensure collection accessibility;
- Providing methodological support and guidelines to other library institutions in the region.
